The LM3224MM-ADJ/NOPB is a high-performance step-up (boost) DC-DC converter designed for compact, low-noise power supply applications requiring flexible voltage output and fast transient response. Featuring an internal 0.15Ω (typical), 2.45A (typical) power switch, the device efficiently delivers high output power from a compact footprint, making it ideal for TFT-LCD biasing, LED flash drivers, and portable electronics.

This regulator operates at pin-selectable switching frequencies of 615kHz or 1.25MHz, enabling designers to balance efficiency and component size while simplifying filtering and minimizing output noise. The external compensation pin allows flexible frequency compensation design, supporting the use of low ESR ceramic output capacitors for stable, high-efficiency operation. Additionally, the external soft-start control enables designers to manage inrush current during startup for safer and smoother power-up behavior.
