The LM2664M6X/NOPB from Texas Instruments is a compact, low-power charge pump voltage inverter that efficiently converts a positive input voltage into its corresponding negative output voltage. Designed to operate from 1.8V to 5.5V, this CMOS-based device is ideal for generating negative supply rails in portable and battery-powered systems, such as operational amplifier biasing, sensor interfaces, and mixed-signal circuits. Using only two low-cost capacitors, the LM2664 achieves up to 40mA output current with a typical conversion efficiency of 91%, providing a cost-effective and space-saving solution.
