The LM22676MRX-5.0-NOPB from Texas Instruments is a monolithic 42V, 3A step-down switching regulator designed for efficient and reliable operation in industrial, automotive, and embedded power systems. It integrates an internal 150mohm DMOS switch, high-frequency PWM control, and operates at a fixed 500kHz switching frequency, enabling smaller inductor and capacitor sizes for compact power designs.

The device provides a fixed 5V output, maintaining +-2% voltage accuracy, and supports efficiencies up to 94%. It includes synchronization capability, soft-start, UVLO, current limit, and thermal shutdown protections. With its 50µA standby current, the LM22676 ensures excellent power efficiency even in low-load or standby modes.
