The L5970D013TR from STMicroelectronics is a monolithic step-down (buck) switching regulator capable of delivering up to 1A output current across a wide 4.4V to 36V input voltage range. It offers excellent load and line regulation with internal frequency fixed at 250kHz, making it ideal for compact and efficient DC-DC conversion.

Equipped with an internal P-channel DMOS transistor (250mohm typical), it enables high efficiency and reduced external components. The L5970D includes synchronization capability, inhibit control, current limiting, and thermal shutdown for robust and flexible power designs across consumer, networking, and industrial applications.
