Description

The fixed-voltage monolithic integrated-circuit voltage regulators are designed for various applications, including on-card regulation to reduce noise and distribution issues associated with single-point regulation. They can also be combined with power-pass elements for high current voltage regulation. Each regulator can deliver up to 100mA output current and is protected against overload through internal limiting and thermal shutdown features.

These regulators offer improved output impedance and lower bias current compared to zener diode-resistor combinations.
