The Grove – NFC (PN532) module is a versatile contactless communication solution designed for secure, high-frequency wireless data exchange. Built around the PN532 chipset, a widely adopted NFC controller, this module supports communication at 13.56 MHz and works seamlessly with ISO14443 Type A and Type B protocols. It offers flexible interface options—either I2C or UART (default)—making it easy to integrate with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other development platforms. With a maximum tag detection distance of up to 28 mm depending on antenna size, the module is suitable for NFC tag reading, card emulation, access control, wireless authentication, smart devices and IoT applications.
