Description

The Gravity Analog Ambient Light Sensor is a versatile component for detecting light density. It provides an analog voltage signal to the controller as feedback and allows you to set voltage thresholds to trigger other project components. Operational in the voltage range of 3.3 to 5 volts, it is compatible with popular controllers like Arduino, micro:bit, ESP32, RP2040, and Raspberry Pi. Note that for Raspberry Pi, an ADC expansion module like Gravity: I2C ADS1115 16-Bit ADC Module or IO Expansion HAT is required due to the absence of built-in ADC functionality.

To enhance usability, this sensor features a universal Gravity interface, eliminating the need for soldering. It can be easily plugged in, and two screw holes enable secure fastening to any desired location. When used with a Gravity IO extension shield, it streamlines the wiring process, eliminating the need for messy DuPont wires and complex connections. This allows you to focus on your creative designs.
