Description
IoT goes batteryless ! Cypress Semiconductor introduces a compact batterless Bluetooth low energy interface sensor design for IOT bluetooth applications. The module comes in RDK (Reference Design Kit) form with bluetooth operated sensor, the module harvest indoor ambient lights or outdoor sunlight to power itself and allows sensor modules to perform its functions efficiently. The RDK also comes with BLE-USB Bridge and Debug Board for remote data logging of the sensors on PC, the debug board is used for programming the sensor module.
The solar BLE sensor is the combination of the humidity sensor and temperature sensor, both managed by the advance solar energy harvesting chip PMIC S6AE103A.
The Cypress BLE-Beacon app works across iOS, Android, and PCs. The app is designed to receive and visualize beacon signals or sensor data that is transmitted by the Solar BLE Sensor. The app shows you real-time data as 2D/3D graphs. The logging data can be exported to CSV file for offline access.
