CDCLVC1106PWR Low-Voltage 1:6 Clock Buffer for High-Speed Digital Systems

The CDCLVC1106PWR from Texas Instruments is a low-voltage CMOS 1-to-6 clock buffer designed for reliable clock distribution in modern high-speed digital systems. It takes a single clock input and fans it out to six low-skew outputs, ensuring precise timing alignment across multiple loads. This makes it well suited for microprocessors, FPGAs, ASICs, networking equipment, and embedded platforms where clean clock fan-out is critical.

Operating from a 1.8 V to 3.3 V single supply, the CDCLVC1106PWR supports low-power system designs while maintaining fast edge rates and stable signal integrity. The device includes an output enable (OE) control that disables all outputs simultaneously, simplifying power management and system-level clock control. Housed in a TSSOP-16 surface-mount package and supplied in tape-and-reel (PWR) format, it is optimised for automated assembly and lead-free reflow soldering. The device is Pb-free, RoHS compliant, and suitable for high-volume production.

Key Features

  • 1:6 Clock Fan-Out Buffer: Distributes one input clock to six outputs
  • Low-Voltage Operation: Supports 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V logic levels
  • Low Output Skew: Ensures accurate clock alignment across devices
  • High-Speed Performance: Suitable for fast digital interfaces
  • CMOS Inputs and Outputs: Wide compatibility with logic families
  • Output Enable Control: Forces all outputs to low when disabled
  • Compact TSSOP Package: Saves PCB space in dense layouts
  • SMT Compatible: Tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly

Applications

  • FPGA and processor clock distribution
  • Embedded and industrial control systems
  • Networking and telecom equipment
  • Data acquisition and measurement systems
  • General-purpose digital clock fan-out
