AP62301WU-7 – 3A, 18V Synchronous Step-Down Converter | Diodes Incorporated

The AP62301WU-7 from Diodes Incorporated is a 3A synchronous buck converter designed for compact, high-efficiency DC-DC conversion in consumer, industrial, and communication systems. Operating from a 2.3V to 18V input range, it delivers a fixed 3.3V output with up to 95% efficiency, making it ideal for 5V, 9V, and 12V supply rails.

Featuring a 1.5MHz switching frequency, the AP62301 enables smaller inductors and capacitors while maintaining excellent load transient performance. It automatically transitions between PWM and PFM modes for optimal efficiency across varying loads, and includes soft-start, power-good indicator, and comprehensive protection circuitry.

Applications

  • IoT and consumer electronics
  • Wireless modules and routers
  • Industrial control and power supplies
  • 5V, 9V, and 12V to 3.3V conversion
  • Battery-powered and embedded devices
