Description

This incredible board combines the shape of a Metro with the power of an ESP32-S2 WiFi module. It features a STEMMA QT connector designed specifically for I2C devices, as well as a Lipoly charger circuit. With your favorite Espressif WiFi microcontroller and ample memory, it's the perfect choice for your next IoT project.

The ESP32-S2 is a highly-integrated, low-power, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi System-on-Chip (SoC) solution. In addition to its built-in native USB, it boasts exciting technologies like Time of Flight distance measurements. Its outstanding power and RF performance make it ideal for various applications in the Internet of Things (IoT), wearable electronics, and smart homes.

Keep in mind that the Metro ESP32-S2 features a single-core 240 MHz chip, which means it may not be as fast as ESP32's with dual-core processors. Bluetooth support is also absent. Nevertheless, we're thrilled about the board's native USB functionality, which unlocks a multitude of advanced interfacing capabilities. The WROVER module used in the Metro version provides 4 MB flash and 2 MB PSRAM, offering ample space for your projects.
