The Air Pump Vacuum DC Motor – LPM ZR320-02PM is a compact and easy-to-use pump designed for inflatables, air-powered robotics, and creative DIY applications. Running on ~4.5V to 5V DC with a current draw of ~600mA, this pump is beginner-friendly and can be powered alongside other DC motors or servos. It pulls air from the side of its plastic casing and pushes it out the tubing port, delivering a flow rate of 1.8 LPM and a maximum stall pressure of -55 kPa.

For safe operation, this pump is not rated for continuous duty—its specification sheet recommends about 30,000 cycles of 10s ON, 5s OFF, or roughly a 50% duty cycle. Perfect for engineers, students, makers, and artists, it’s an inexpensive solution for inflatable robots, kinetic art, or air-driven projects. The motor can also be PWM-controlled to regulate flow rate, and works seamlessly with power transistors, L293D motor drivers, and Adafruit’s CRICKIT robotics boards. Due to vibrations during operation, it is best placed against foam or a soft surface to reduce noise.
