The DYP Sensor A25 IP67 waterproof dual-angle ultrasonic ranging sensor is designed for reliable obstacle detection in outdoor automatic-control applications, especially lawn-mower robots. It measures distances from 3 cm to 200 cm and helps detect obstacles while reducing interference from grass, weeds, motor noise, and environmental acoustic noise.

Built with a closed ultrasonic transducer and integrated potting structure, the A25 sensor offers strong weather-resistance for outdoor use. Its compact PVC housing supports IP67 waterproof protection, making it well-suited for rain-prone and dusty environments. The sensor also includes intelligent acoustic-wave processing, continuously-variable gain, real-time background calibration, and noise-suppression algorithms for stable distance readings.

This ultrasonic ranging sensor supports UART automatic-output and UART controlled-output modes. It operates from a wide 3.3 V to 12 V supply and provides millimetre-level resolution, fast ms-level response, configurable range settings, and adjustable baud rates. Internal metal shielding helps reduce high-intensity motor interference, making it suitable for robotics, automation, smart outdoor equipment, and battery-powered systems.
