The 7Semi WE-LED-1210 is a compact, ultra-bright LED module designed for signal indication, visual feedback, and illumination in embedded systems and DIY electronics projects. Featuring a high-luminance white SMD LED and onboard resistor, this module connects easily via standard 3-pin (SIG, GND, VCC) headers and is compatible with most microcontrollers, including Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi.
With plug-and-play simplicity and a durable PCB-mounted package, this module is ideal for rapid prototyping, testing, and educational applications.
High Brightness SMD LED for clear visual indication
3-pin interface: Signal, Ground, and VCC for effortless connectivity
Compact design for breadboards, PCBs, or custom enclosures
Integrated resistor and transistor driver for safe microcontroller interfacing
Compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic levels
Plug-and-play module for fast integration into DIY projects
Microcontroller status indication (Arduino, ESP32, STM32)
Visual alerts in automation or sensor nodes
Onboard system diagnostics
Educational electronics kits
Wearable or enclosure-based LED notifications
Q1: Can I drive this LED directly from a GPIO pin?
A: Yes. The onboard transistor allows you to safely drive the LED using a logic-level HIGH signal from a GPIO pin.
Q2: Is this compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers?
A: Absolutely. It works with both 3.3V and 5V systems.
Q3: Does the LED turn on with active HIGH or LOW?
A: The module is active HIGH – send a HIGH signal to SIG to turn on the LED.
Q4: Can I change the color of the LED?
A: This version comes with a white LED. Color customization would require swapping the LED manually.
