Description

The 74LVC2G00 is a dual-input NAND gate. Inputs can be powered by either 3.3 or 5 V devices. This functionality enables these devices to function as translators in situations with both 3.3 V and 5 V. Schmitt-trigger activity at all inputs allows the circuit to tolerate slower input rise and fall times. This device is completely described for partial power down applications that use IOFF. The IOFF circuitry stops the output, preventing potentially harmful backflow current through the device when it is turned off.
