Description

The 74LVC1G97 is a programmable multiple function gate with Schmitt-trigger inputs. The device can be designed to perform any of the following logic functions: MUX, AND, OR, NAND, NOR, inverter, and buffer utilizing the 3-bit input. All inputs can be connected to either VCC or GND. Inputs can be powered by either 3.3 or 5 V devices. This functionality enables these devices to function as translators in situations with both 3.3 V and 5 V. This device is completely specified for partial power-down applications that use IOFF. When the device is turned off, the IOFF circuitry shuts the output, preventing the device from receiving dangerous backflow current.
