Description

The 74AHCV07A is a hexadecimal buffer with open drain outputs. The outputs are open-drain and can be coupled to other open-drain outputs to provide active-LOW or active-HIGH wired-AND operations.
The inputs are overvoltage tolerant. This capability allows these devices to function as translators in mixed voltage settings. The data (nA) inputs include Schmitt trigger inputs, which can convert slowly changing input signals into well-defined, jitter-free output signals. This device is completely described for partial power down applications that use IOFF. The IOFF circuitry stops the output, preventing potentially harmful backflow current through the device when it is turned off.
