The USR-N520 Serial to Ethernet server actively listens on the configured port and awaits a TCP client connection. Once a connection is established, the device transparently transmits the data sent out from the serial ports to all the connected TCP clients via the USR-N520.
TCP Client
The USR-N520 Serial to Ethernet server initiates a TCP connection to the pre-configured IP address. In the event of connection failure, the device will continue trying to reconnect until a successful connection is established. Once a connection is established, the device transparently transmits data between the PC and the serial device in bi-directional mode.
The USR-N520 Serial to Ethernet server facilitates the transmission of serial data from a serial device to the target network device via a UDP connection. The device listens on a configured port and transmits all the received data to the serial device.
HTTPD Client
The USR-N520 supports a HTTPS client mode, enabling the transmission of serial data to a HTTPS server in the HTTPS format via GET/POST methods.
