The S12XE family is designed for automotive and industrial applications, and features an S12X core, scalable memory up to 1MB of Flash, 5 x CAN, 3 x SPI, 8 x SCI, 2 x IIC and is offered in 80, 112, 144 LQFP and 208 MAPBGA packages and supports -40 to 125 C temperatures.
The DEVKIT-S12XE is a small form factor board that is compatible with the Arduino™ R3 UNO pinout. It features a 12 V power supply, USB powered OpenBDM debug, potentiometer, dual push buttons and RGB LED. The board also has expansion options using the DEVKIT-COMM board.
