1.9mm Gull-Wing SMD Infrared LED 940nm with Low Forward Voltage for Compact Sensor Assemblies
The IR91-21C/TR7(XY) is a 1.9 mm round subminiature infrared LED from Everlight, designed for compact SMT layouts requiring reliable infrared emission and consistent optical performance. This device uses a GaAlAs infrared chip and is moulded in a water-clear plastic package with a spherical top-view lens, enabling efficient radiant output with good beam control.
With a peak wavelength of 940 nm, the IR91-21C/TR7(XY) offers excellent spectral matching with silicon photodiodes and phototransistors, making it suitable for a wide range of infrared sensing and detection systems. Its gull-wing lead SMD package supports stable reflow soldering and automated assembly, while the low forward voltage helps reduce overall power consumption in continuous or pulsed operation environments.
