The 7Semi Evelta MLX90641 Thermal Camera Sensor Array Breakout integrates a MLX90641 fully calibrated 16x12 pixels thermal IR array an industry standard digital interface. The MLX90641 contains 192 FIR pixels. It is an ambient sensor is integrated to measure the ambient temperature of the chip and supply sensor to measure the VDD.
The device use I2C protocol with support of FM+ mode (up to 1MHz clock frequency) and can be only slave on the bus. The SDA and SCL ports are 5V tolerant and the sensor can be directly connected to a 5V I 2C network.
